Setting up your Virtual Firewall takes a few minutes, and we handle the configuration. Here is what to have ready so it goes smoothly when the device arrives.
Your checklist
- Your internet connection — know how your office connects (modem or router, and who the provider is). The device plugs into your existing connection; no static IP is needed.
- A spot by your router — the device sits between your internet and your network, so plan to plug it in near your router or modem.
- Who connects — a rough list of the computers, card terminals and Wi-Fi that will run behind it.
- Anyone who needs remote access — if staff connect from outside the office, note who, so we can set that up.
What we send
A device preconfigured for your business, with cables and a short setup guide. You plug it in, and we confirm you are protected — our engineers handle the configuration, updates and support from there.
Adding more sites later
Each location gets its own device. If you add an office or store down the line, we ship another preconfigured device and it joins your plan — see Adding a second location.
